I have been collecting some items on insasales on Instagram for my bedroom makeover. Let me just take this moment to mention that I LOVE INSTAGRAM!!!! I am jacksonvalley on Instagram...hop on and you can see all of the AMAZING women that I follow!

Here are some pics from my new space....

These frames are inspired by The Pleated Poppy

Big Sign (I don't know what else to call it!)

So I totally copied off of this and kind of tweaked it a little.

Supplies:
Wood (but I used thick poster board cause I didn't want to have to wait on my husband :))
Vinyl letters you choose the size
Spray paint
I also used craft paint but you don't have to

Step one: Choose your saying and spell it out on the board. I chose a line from our wedding song. Ours says "You're my refuge from the road, a safe place to go"

Step Two: Once the letters are on spray the whole thing with spray paint.

Step Three: Pull the vinyl letters off leaving a black space behind.

I could have stopped there but I wasn't satisfied so I paint the void space with craft paint.

The colors match my quilt I bought on contented sparrow's instasale on instagram.

Once again I still wasn't satisfied....so I decided to add a frame. There will eventually be white lights strung above the bed with the tulle.

I bought a build yourself frame at Michael's, for no other reason except the fact that it was on clearance.

I spray painted the border the same color of the board.

These pics are showing how the frame goes together. Photos courtesy of Jag.

Here is the finished project. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It is very mellow and sweet. I really love it.
