Elk Hunting

A couple of weeks ago John left me for 7 days with two small children :) to go elk hunting in Colorado. He has wanted to do this ever since I have known him, the experience was really a life long dream for him.

No clue where this was but I guess it was an insane gorge. John is not too comfortable with heights so this wasn't one of his favorite parts of the trip.

John and his friends rode their 4 wheeler's in the mountains and soaked up the scenery.

Here it is...the reason for the trip, that big smile on his face lasted quite a few days.

Happy Birthday Jagger!

Saturday we celebrated Jagger's 3rd birthday! This year Jag wanted a "tractor" birthday.

We had boxed lunches for all of the kids.

Each kid got a hard hat.

Jag had 3 friends spend the night with him after the birthday party. All in all a wonderful (exhausting!) weekend. I love you Jagger, you are getting so big so quickly. I hope you enjoyed your birthday and I hope you know how awesome you are. Mommy and daddy think you are the coolest!

Weight Loss Amount

11.6 lbs

So...I've been sick :( I have strep....to be expected I guess when both kids had it a couple of weeks ago. Nothing has really tasted good lately so instead of eating well I have been snacking allot. I am really looking forward to feeling better and food tasting better so I can continue will my weight loss full speed ahead. All and all I think that I am doing well.

Jag's birthday party is this Saturday, then we have Halloween, my sisters baby shower which I am hosting on Nov 3rd and then Jagger is getting his tonsils out on November 13th. There is allot going on around here and I have to continue to be conscious of what I am putting in my mouth and what decisions I am making for my body!

Baby Shower

At our bible study last week we had a surprise baby shower for two of our sisters that are due very soon! The theme of the shower was mustache and bow ties. Here are some pics of the fun night!
